The coast-to-coast solar eclipse of 8/21/2017 was a historic event. To mark the occasion, the team at NetRush donned some shades and stepped outside to take in as much of it as we could in Vancouver, Washington. At 10:19 a.m., the height of the eclipse, it got shady, the air got a little cooler, and the street lights along Mill Plain Boulevard came on. It looked a lot like a late autumn afternoon. By 10:25, things had gone back to normal and the moment was over. We weren’t on the path of totality, it was still cool to experience this rare miracle of nature in real time.
Our team in Hebron, Kentucky also made the best of the eclipse on Monday.
