April is officially in the past. As the new month (hopefully) brings May flowers, we reflect on events, new partnerships, and insight that April 2017 brought us.

 

NetRush attends Paul Stamets event

Paul Stamets, founder of Host Defense and Fungi Perfecti, closed out March by giving a presentation in Seattle, WA. Stamets was primarily focused on on two things: the power that mycelium has on the immune system of humans, animals, and plants, and the benefit that this immune support can provide to bees, particularly when considering their rapid population decline. NetRush began the month of April by reflecting on Paul’s presentation.

 

Mobile, and how it is changing ecommerce

With 2.6 billion mobile users worldwide and a global ecommerce industry worth $1.915 trillion, NetRush examined why mastering mobile commerce is the logical next step for digital retail. Read our take on the subject here.

 

NetRush announces Amazon Shift, a Portland Business Journal event

Alaffia visits NetRush, discusses empowerment

On April 14, Alaffia visited NetRush in Vancouver, Washington. Alaffia, a NetRush partner, is one of the most forward thinking skin care manufacturers; their overarching company goal is to alleviate poverty and encourage gender equality, particularly in Africa. NetRush’s Connor Parsons interviewed Alaffia founder Olowo-n’djo, which can be read here.

 

Leatherman announces new video series

Leatherman, NetRush partner and the world’s largest manufacturer of high quality multi-tools, has announced a new video series titled Tool Tales. The series showcases true stories submitted by Leatherman tool owners, retold on screen. The first Leatherman video can be seen here.

 

CatEye announces partnership with NetRush

CatEye, the leading manufacturer of bicycle computers, lights, and reflectors, announced an exclusive partnership with NetRush in April. As a company, NetRush is excited to be working with a brand as innovative and committed to their customers as CatEye. Read the full post here.
